More about Folsom Homes

Folsom is divided up into a number of general areas. Old Town (Historic) Folsom includes historic Sutter Street along the river. Here you'll find the areas historic homes and some great local shops and restaurants. Natoma Station just off Highway 50 which is a great place for proffesionals needing easy access to the freeways for the commute, or those who want close proximity to the areas largest employer, Intel. It is also home to the Folsom Outlets, one of the two outdoor malls in Folsom.

Then there is Prairie Oaks, just across the road from Folsom High School. This is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Folsom for families due to it's amazing local schools and parks. Across the River is American River Canyon, and American River Canyon North. Quiet winding streets with larger lots and generally larger homes, which make this relatively sleepy community feels more like Granite bay than Folsom.

The newest part of Folsom is the Broadstone / Empire Ranch area off East Bidwell and Hwy 50. Home to the public Empire Ranch Golf Club, Folsom Lake College, and the brand new open air mall, The Palladio, this area is the hub of Folsom and where you will find the majority of the areas shopping and dining.

No matter what kind of neighborhood you like, small and quiet, busy and lively, Folsom has it. If you'd like to know more about the area, and which migh be right for you, feel free to give us a call.
